After 11 years as a federal prosecutor in the District of New Jersey, serving as Chief of Economic/Commercial Crimes, and prior work at a global law firm in NYC, Judith founded GermanoLaw LLC to provide organizations and individuals with client-focused counsel and representation on complex cybersecurity, privacy, securities, and other financial fraud and regulatory-compliance matters, federal civil and criminal investigations and litigation, internal investigations and crisis management. Judith's legal counsel combines more than 25 years of legal experience, sound judgment, and a keen sense of strategy in a client-oriented, risk management approach.
Judith successfully completed five IronMan 140.6 mile triathlons (2015 through 2019), placing 10th in her age group in 2018 and ranking as an IronMan All World Athlete after an 11:43-hour finish at IronMan Florida in 2019.
Judith began her career in the United States Federal Courts in 1996, and had judicial clerkships for the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She then began as a litigation associate at Shearman & Sterling. After her time with them, Judith worked as Chief of Economic Crimes and Chief of Commercial Crimes in the United States Attorney’s Office in New Jersey. She also worked in Special Prosecution, Terrorism/National Security, and Public Protection while there. Judith also has been an adjunct professor at New York University and has been a chair member of multiple associations on campus.
Judith H. Germano got her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where she had a full tuition academic merit scholarship.
